GREENYARD FARM

Planning application approved at last weeks committee for the change of use of an existing stone and timber barn to residential and the erection of 12 holiday accommodation units.

The site, located in the Vale of Glamorgan had quite a negative planning history.  We had to build a robust case with a quality design team to give the LPA reassurance.  Lots of issues had to be overcome including ecology (bats), heritage, tourism, economic benefit, sustainability, landscape, enabling development and highways impact.

With the help of a committed design team, and a strong business case, we were able to demonstrate that the scheme presented was appropriate development in this location.
