SUCCESS AT BRIDGEND PLANNING COMMITTEE

Asbri Planning achieved success at Planning Committee in Bridgend on 3rd September 2015 as a resolution to grant outline consent was secured for a development of 47 dwellings at Heol y Geifr in Pencoed. The application was submitted on behalf of Waterstone Homes and Hafod Housing Association, representing another success for two of Asbri's longest-term clients.

Asbri Planning presented to planning Committee in the face of objection from neighbours and Councillors. The decision was a welcome outcome after a period of constructive and considered negotiation with the local authority. The development will replace an unsightly area of land that has been vacant for many years.

Asbri is grateful to the strong consultant team which included input from Spring Design, Asbri Transport, Tirlun Design Associates, Wildwood Ecology, Hunter Acoustics and JBA Consulting.
