Our input
Asbri Planning has formed a strong working relationship with Carmarthenshire County Council and subsequently has provided planning services on a number of education developments linked with the council’s Modernising Education Programme. We have dealt with many other successful planning applications for schools on behalf of the county including Ysgol Carreg Hirfaen in Cwmann, Ysgol Newydd Copperworks in Llanelli and Burry Port Primary School in Burry Port.
In terms of Ysgol Bro Dinefwr, Asbri Planning sought to address issues relating to the site's location within a sensitive landscape designation as well as matters regarding ecology and archaeology.
All of these issues were drawn together by Asbri Planning within an Environmental Impact Assessment. Planning permission for the development was granted in 2013 and scheduled for completion in 2016, to secure a modern state of the art educational hub for the north eastern area of Carmarthenshire.
