BOAT YARD ON TRAWLER ROAD
Asbri planning have obtained planning permission at Appeal for the construction of 50 flats and a retail unit at the former Boat Yard on Trawler Road on behalf of Waterstone Homes.
There was strong local opposition to the scheme from local residents and businesses due to concerns about noise, air pollution, traffic and amenity.
However, a very strong case was presented supported by robust technical reports including noise, air pollution and transport statements to demonstrate that the proposal represented a sustainable development opportunity in the heart of Swansea.
