REDEVELOPMENT OF BREWERY BUILDINGS

Redevelopment of Brewery Buildings

We're pleased to be working with working alongside Pobl and Powell Dobson Architects on the residential redevelopment of the two II grade listed buildings on the site of a former brewery in Llanelli.

"The buildings, awarded grade II-listed status in 2007, were built between 1850 and 1855. They provided the malted barley for the brewing process of Buckley’s beer until the brewery’s closure in 1998. Both are now said to be in a dilapidated condition.

The proposals cover the conversion of the existing maltings building and barley kiln, to provide 18, one- and a pair of two-bedroom residential apartments together. Six three-bedroom, new-build residential properties will also be built.

Eight parking spaces will be created to serve the apartments, with another three for visitors. A further six spaces will be provided for the townhouses, together with six garages".
