PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In March 2019 planning permission was granted to convert the former Goodshed in Barry and some of its adjacent brown field land and railway tracks to provide a mixed-use development. The scheme would comprise of 11 apartments, a restaurant owned by an award-winning chef, a micro-brewery, recognised local makeup entrepreneurs’ ‘Spectrum’ workshop and offices, a flexible events space with outdoor cinema and children's play area, a drive-thru coffee shop and erection of entrepreneurial incubator business units converted from fifty-two 20’shipping containers.  Furthermore, in July 2020 planning permission was granted for the siting and conversion of several railway carriages for mixed use purposes.
