OUR INPUT
Asbri Planning co-ordinated a multi-disciplinary team to submit Change of Use and Listed Building Consent applications to convert the prominent Grade II listed former cinema. The Art Deco cinema, which opened in 1940, played an important role in the social fabric of Port Talbot and it had lain vacant since 1999 and was falling into a state of disrepair. Asbri Planning worked with the Council, Cadw, the contractor and design team, including heritage architects, to obtain planning and listed building consent for a community facility to be run by the Port Talbot YMCA.
