Dylan Green
Associate
Dylan is a Principal Planner at Asbri Planning and is a professionally qualified town planner and a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Dylan is based in our Cardiff office and has progressed within the company since joining Asbri Planning in 2013 as a Student Planner. Dylan has acted as lead consultant and assisted on planning applications for the development of a number of residential projects for housebuilders, private developers and Housing Associations and has delivered planning permissions on a wide range of developments including leisure, commercial, education and renewable energy projects.
While working with Asbri Planning, he has enjoyed working on a number of ground mounted solar PV generation projects and has successfully co-ordinated the full and listed building applications for the redevelopment of the Grade I listed Old College and the Grade II listed 1 & 2 New Promenade in Aberystwyth into an exhibition centre, a hub for business start-ups, and conference and facilities along with a change of use of the building to provide a 32-bed boutique hotel. Dylan has also lead on a number of residential projects, focussing on affordable housing provision as well as recently co-ordinating and securing planning for Dwr Cymru on their visitor centre project at Llanishen reservoir.
Outside of work Dylan, originally from Newtown in mid-Wales, is a Welsh Schools Champion in football and hockey and now plays rugby for Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd. He also enjoys cycling, spending time with his family and most importantly is a huge part of the Asbri Planning Touch Rugby Team! Dylan is a fluent Welsh speaker, educated at Ysgol Uwchradd Llanfair Caereinion High School and regularly corresponds in Welsh via emails or phone discussions with clients and local authority planning officers.
