George Milburn

Planner

George joined Asbri’s Cardiff office as a Planner in June 2023, after a year and a half’s worth of experience in Cardiff’s private sector. George studied at the University of Birmingham for four years, and completed both Geography & Planning BSc and Urban & Regional Planning MSc degrees in the West Midlands, before returning to his hometown of Cardiff to begin his career in planning. He is currently preparing his RTPI Chartership submission and hopes to become a Chartered Town Planner of the RTPI in the near future. George has worked on a variety of projects in his planning career to-date - including retail, commercial, leisure, residential and minerals projects, on behalf of a range of private, statutory, and public sector clients.

George is a keen sportsman, and in his spare time can often be found playing football or cricket, watching his beloved Cardiff City, or walking his elderly Jack Russell terrier. He is also a keen runner, and has completed the London Marathon twice “for fun”!
