STEAM ACADEMY, BRIDGEND COLLEGE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

An 8,500m2 state of the art STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Academy to accommodate teaching, learning and support facilities, including workshops for vehicle maintenance, welding, M&E, Pneumatics and CNC, laboratories, classrooms, staff areas, multi-functional hall, café and break-out social learning spaces.

The Academy will be a flagship for showcasing 21st century teaching and learning, bringing economic and cultural growth to the Bridgend County Borough area, and will accommodate 1,000 students.

OUR INPUT

• pre-application submission;

• coordination, submission and negotiation of the planning application and Section 106 negotiations.

  Asbri Planning was subsequently appointed on a Phase 2 Land Base Building of 2,500m2 and Car Park reconfiguration.
