Asbri Planning have been instructed by Newport City Homes to progress a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) in respect of the development of 40 homes and associated works on land near Coverack Road, Newport.
In accordance with Part 1A of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 (“the 2016 Order”), all major developments are required to be subject to pre-application consultation, prior to the Planning Application being validated by the Local Planning Authority. Under Section 2C Asbri Planning are required to make a draft valid planning application available publicly for comment for no less than 28 days.
All relevant drawings, reports and supplementary supporting documents are available for inspection and review below.
Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must do so by 20th January 2024. Please note that Newport City Homes has extended the standard 28-day consultation period to 35 days to allow additional time over the Christmas break. In addition to this, a public exhibition is being held on Wednesday 8th January 2025 between 15:00 to 18:00 at Rosier’s Dojo Martial Arts Club, 1 Witham Street, Newport, where the proposals will be displayed and members of the design team will be available to answer any questions.
